I (the founder) began searching for property in Bulgaria January 1, 2005 having had an inspired New Years Eve get together with close friends. I'd trawled through hundreds of international property sites looking for the ideal place to live, and on that day, by accident, something came up on Bulgaria, which I'd never investigated at all! It was cheap, beautiful, due to enter the EU, a great tourist destination, and other Brits were just starting to buy. For the rest of that week I was glued to the net "searching". I got together with my friends, showed them what I found, and decided to open a company and invest. In March of that year, after having made some Bulgarian friends in London, I came to Sliven to set up our company and "check out" Bulgaria.

Although March is probably THE most drab time of year, I instantly fell in love on the journey from Sofia to Sliven. It is the only time in my life that I ever bothered to write down what I was seeing. I was so moved and struck by everything I saw, the ugly and the beautiful, that I had to write about it. In the days that followed I set up our company, travelled the country, made many friends and absorbed a lot of information.

Two years have now gone by and we have grown. Starting as a small two man office in November 2005, we this year expanded to new offices and our team has grown to eleven dedicated and wonderful staff.

Staff

Although Geo (MD) was initially reluctant to even come out here (He's a "London Boy"), after two days in Sliven, he confided that he didn't want to go back to the UK, and since he's been here, he hasn't been "there". We absolutely love it here and find that almost everyone who does make it out to Bulgaria feels much the same.

As Sliven was the town and region we liked best, we settled there. It's not overdeveloped like beach and ski resorts, but not far from them. Sliven is at the foot of the mountains, right next to a huge nature reserve, the air is incredibly clean and great for anyone, including asthma sufferers. The scenery is beautiful and the very pleasant town caters to many interests for all generations, whether its motorcross, skiing, swimming, golfing, fishing, hunting, paragliding, hiking, lounging, cafe culture, shopping, you name it. Property is slightly less expensive than coastal and ski resorts yet as attractive, if not more so. There's a flourishing local economy not based on tourism, although eco and spa tourism could enhance this. Sliven is only an hour from the coast, Greece, Turkey, and about 2 hours from the major ski resort of Pamporovo. It also has it's own small ski slope. It's a very safe, pretty town. Geo's background is in management, training and graphic design. He has worked with companies such as Curries & Dixons, Nestle, Ministry of Defense, BBC and many more. My expertise is in the fields of home economics, social care, and research. With our combined skills, we decided to dedicate ourselves to providing great service and helping others come here, whether for holiday, retirement, investment, or to relocate completely. We studied, got all the information to start a real estate business, teamed up with the best solicitors and accountants in town, and expanded. It's our pride and pleasure to help people come and find their "place" here.

Since our arrival, we've helped our clients not only to find the right property for THEM, but with all the little things that come up initially in buying a property; renovating, settling in, pet visas, child care, finding the right car, or shooling for the kids, tours of the area, legal help, insurance, wine tasting, furniture shopping, the list goes on. Whatever it is you need to settle or holiday here, we are here to help. In the main, our clients end up becoming our friends.

We don't hardsell, it is not in our interest to do so. We will genuinely help and answer your questions and provide you with what you're looking for, if we don't have it, we'll tell you.
