Finding the right place in the first place...
We are very certain you'll find Bulgaria a fantastic place to holiday, live, retire, or just "invest". But each person has their own idea of what they'd really like. Or maybe it's a question of matching what you can afford, with what you'd like. We've found that almost always, when people come here to buy a property in Bulgaria, there's a three day process involved*. On the first day a big Reality Adjustment takes place! The second day there's often a bit of anxiety about finding a property that fits the bill. And then on the third day, it's been found and there's a feeling of pleasure, contentment, excitement and disbelief at having found such a great place and at such a good price. No matter how much you've studied the net and pored over all the information, when you actually arrive here - it's all different! That cute little house that you hope is still available, has a goat farm next door and smells of Mr. Billy, or the other one that was really large and good looking is in an impoverished village with lots of litter and a little girl is doing a wee wee on the road as you're viewing. Or you thought you wanted to live in a remote rural location and then realized what remote is REALLY like, and that actually, you'd like to be a bit closer to civilization. Maybe you thought you wanted something with development potential near the beach and found that a concrete jungle isn't really what you had in mind. These things change your whole idea of what you were looking for in the first place. You may decide you'd rather have something built, or that you'd like a newly built home in town.
This is where we're just the best. We're really good at identifying what's going to be a property that will make you happy, and providing it. This is a process. It comes from excellent back and forth communication before you even arrive, and answering questions. It comes from providing information that you can actually use. It comes from thoughtfully selecting properties for you to look at before you come out, and from honest appraisals of them. And it comes from observation of what things make the person happy. The properties you see on our site are predominantly in the Sliven, Yambol, Elhovo and Nova Zagora regions. This is simply because we feel this area offers the best and the most for your money. We encourage you to use the site to identify some of the properties that you like. A good place to start is the maximum price range you can afford and see what's there and work down the price scale. (click here to see) Then look in some of the higher and lower price ranges and see what's available and what you like. Enquire, perhaps you see something you like above your budget, just ask if it can be negotiated, or let us know what you like about it and if we have something similar but for less money. Look at the different areas as well. Do you want to be really close to the coast? Or Skiing?, Do you like fishing and want to be near lakes? Do you have children who will be bored with village life and want something with amenities but still a rural feel? Are you on a REALLY tight budget? If you don't see what you're looking for, ASK us! We're not really hard sellers, but do work hard and take pleasure and pride in providing accurate and useful information that will help you.
It is a very strange market here at the moment, particularly in the resale area. There are very few guidelines, so sellers determine an amount they want and provide this to the market at that price. We sometimes have to say, "sorry, we know you spent a lot of money doing up your house (next to the remote pig farm), but we can't sell it for more than a luxury villa in Bansko". We will always strive to get you a great value for the money, and something you will have much pleasure and/or income from, on the other hand, we don't like to cheat locals from a fair price. At the end of the day, we all live with each other and a win-win situation is the best in our view.
